REFLECTIONS: Honoring the Lives of the January 8 Shooting Victims University of Arizona, Centennial Hall January 8, 2012, 3 pm – 4:30 pm
Speakers will talk about the lives of the 6 people who died on January 8, the survivors and the citizen heroes who came to their aid following the shootings.
Speakers include; Senator Mark Udall (for Congresswoman Giffords) Senator Udall represents Colorado in the U.S. Senate. He was born and raised in Tucson and is the son of Congressman Morris Udall.

Pat Maisch (for the survivors and citizen heroes) Pat was at the January 8 Congress on Your Corner event. She grabbed the gun clip as the shooter was trying to reload. Her action may have prevented other casualties.
Judge Raner Collins (for Chief Judge John Roll) Judge Collins is a member of the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona. He has served for many years alongside Chief Judge Roll.
Dr. Lattie Coor (for Gabe Zimmerman) Dr. Coor is the former President of ASU and current Chairman/CEO of the Center for the Future of Arizona. The Center has created the annual Gabe Zimmerman Public Service Awards
Rev. Dr. Andrew Ross (for Phyllis Schneck) Dr. Ross is the pastor at Northminster Presbyterian Church in Tucson. This was Phyllis’ church
Serenity Hammrich and Jamie Stone (for Christina Taylor-Green) They were Christina’s best friends in school.
Ron Barber (for Dorwan Stoddard) Ron is Congresswoman Giffords’ District Director. He and his family founded the Fund for Civility, Respect and Understanding in the wake of the shootings.
Brandon Nelson (for Dorothy Morris) Brandon is Dorothy and George Morris’ oldest grandson.
The event will be facilitated by Dr. Richard Carmona, 17th Surgeon General of the United States and Distinguished professor at the University of Arizona.
