About Us

FundforCivility.org was created to showcase the work of the Fund for Civility, Respect and Understanding. Since its inception in February 2011, the fund has helped the community heal from the tragic events of Jan. 8 in a variety of ways. The fund intends to continue to thrive, grow and help build a healthier local and global community. Through concert events large and small, sponsored films and discussions, and volunteer task force collaborations, the Fund for Civility, Respect and Understanding has emerged as a compassionate and positive influence. With Ron Barber and his family’s leadership the fund has helped a wounded community come together and will build a healthier home for generations to come.
